In Ballerup, we are responsible for the introduction and manufacturing of microelectronics for hearing aids. Our site consists of 125 colleagues, including 70 Operators working across three shifts. You will join the day shift and become part of a modern, high-tech production environment defined by quality, precision, and continuous improvement.

 

Your role: Lead, develop, and deliver

As Team Manager, you will lead a team of 22 Operators working with:

  • Dispenser machines coating PCB components.
  • SMD lines assembling electronics.
  • Test equipment ensuring product quality.
  • Laser cutting systems preparing amplifiers.

 

You will help your team reach its goals by encouraging engagement, developing capabilities, and supporting reliable safety, quality, and delivery outcomes.

 

You will play a central role in improving operational excellence using Lean principles and ensuring a robust, structured production flow.

 

Key responsibilities

Leadership & people development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop your team through clear direction and coaching.
  • Act as a visible role model, encouraging trust, accountability, and team spirit.

Production execution

  • Ensure output meets the production plan.
  • Monitor and act on KPIs to maintain performance and stability.

Training & capability building

  • Ensure effective onboarding and continuous training (online, classroom, and peer training).
  • Build competencies aligned with production requirements.

Cross-functional coordination

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Quality, Operational Technology, NPI, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure smooth operations and fast issue resolution.

Lean & continuous improvement

  • Use Global Manufacturing System (GMS) tools to support ongoing improvements.
  • Enhance engagement by organizing structured improvement activities.

Collaboration & leadership context

You will report to Kristian Vilstrup, Director, Amplifier Production, and work closely with him on priorities, performance, and team development. You can expect a trust-based collaboration with clear direction and sparring, supporting both your operational outcomes and leadership growth.

 

You will also partner closely with the two other Team Managers across shifts, ensuring alignment across day, evening, and night operations. A solid handover culture and shared ownership of performance are key, as you collectively ensure stability, continuous improvement, and a consistent employee experience.

 

Onboarding & development

You will be assigned to a dedicated mentor to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. We invest in your growth and leadership development, providing continuous support from both your manager and colleagues.

What you bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from a production environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience from production.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
  • Experience working with Lean and continuous improvement.
  • Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid IT skills and ability to work with production data.
