(Senior) Chemical and Material Specialist

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced (Senior) Chemical and Material Specialist to join our Regulatory Compliance team. In this key role, you’ll help ensure that our audiometric medical devices are safe, compliant, and ready to support people with hearing loss around the world.
You’ll be based in Rosówek, working closely with colleagues both locally and in Denmark. We offer a hybrid work model and flexible hours, so you can find a balance that works for you.

What tasks are waiting for you?
• Ensure product biosafety through adherence to ISO 10993-1 and related standards.
• Develop biological evaluation strategies and prepare biological evaluation reports as part of product safety documentation.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve the chemicals and materials compliance framework across all Demant Diagnostics brands.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with REACH, RoHS, and ISO 10993-1.
• Provide expert input on chemicals and materials during product development, supplier evaluation, and change management.
• Coordinate and follow up on biocompatibility testing with external laboratories.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Product Management, and Procurement to align compliance strategies and execution.
• Monitor evolving global regulatory trends and assess their impact on our medical devices and business.

• Hold a degree in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Ability to interpret REACH, RoHS, and ISO 10993-1, and can translate scientific and regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Have 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or material science, ideally within the medical device industry.
• Are able to communicate with external laboratories for biocompatibility and biological testing.
• Can work independently and collaboratively in international, cross-functional teams.
• Communicate fluently in English and Polish, both verbally and in writing.
