For our headquarters in Middelfart, Denmark, we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support Department with a focus on delivering second level support to Interacoustics’ sales companies, independent distributors, and sister companies through training and highly skilled technical support.
As our new colleague, you will be part of a department with seven highly skilled colleagues who also have their own specialties in technical, engineering and audiology and are responsible for delivering comprehensive technical second level support to our customers. The team provides help and guidance on technical issues and questions regarding the software and hardware of Interacoustics audiological solutions. You will be reporting to our Technical Support Manager, Jóhanna Hill.
Some of your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Providing help and guidance on technical, software and PC related issues
- Handling of customer complaints
- Presenting of technical parts on seminars
- Possessing good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Systematic approach
- Flexible and change ready
- Willingness to travel approx. 25 days per year
- Contributing to the continuous development of our support function
Stakeholder Management Skills
You may have a technical degree or similarly in (medical) technical equipment, technology or another background that provides you with the relevant electronical knowledge.
You will be working with multidisciplinary teams including R&D, Product Management, Customer Service and Sales. Therefore, the ideal candidate enjoys working with stakeholders, has a motivational attitude, and can drive and finish projects.
Presentations internally and at seminars are part of the job and ideally you have experience with training, teaching or making public presentations. Presentations are often held in English, so you will need advanced oral and written English skills along with good PC skills.
French and Spanish language skills would be a strong advantage.
