Systems Engineer

About the Role

 

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to ensure that system-level requirements are properly documented and managed and leading the definition of system interfaces defined throughout the project lifecycle and specialized in system verification planning, ensuring that all system components are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards. This role is critical for defining the boundary conditions and constraints for project through well-determined systems requirements

You will be joining the DGS R&D department which provides support to several brands in the field of hearing diagnostics and balance solutions. The R&D team includes about 100 professionals specializing in systems engineering, mechanics, electronics, and software, with locations in both Denmark, Poland and Malaysia. Our focus is on creating high-quality products that positively affect all users, with particular attention to children.

We are establishing a Systems Engineering department under R&D and we are looking for systems engineers who are systems thinkers and thrive in an international environment, collaborating with the best and brightest in the industry. This position covers a broad range of capabilities including, requirements generation, requirements decomposition and traceability, test planning, test procedure development, verification

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse User needs and flow down them to elicit system requirements,
  • elicit, analyse, and document system requirements from stakeholders,
  • develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices from user needs to test evidence and ensure requirements are testable, verifiable, and aligned with project objectives, collaborate with the test planning engineer to ensure requirements are adequately covered in test plans,
  • participate in design reviews and provide input on requirement feasibility and risk assessment,
  • develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on system requirements,
  • coordinate and execute testing activities, including integration, verification, and validation testing,
  • identify and document defects, and work with the engineering team to resolve issues,
  • ensure test plans are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards and provide regular updates on progress and results to stakeholders.

Your Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in design and Innovation or a related field from DTU or a similar institution
  • experience in the systems engineering Lifecycle with in-depth knowledge of requirements analysis and verification,
  • experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive),
  • skilled in problem-solving with an innovative mindset,
  • stakeholder Management and able to effectively communicate with a cross-functional team,
  • technical skills in systems design, integration, and troubleshooting,
  • exposure to product platform development or product line engineering is preferred but not required.
