About the Role

Then we might have an exciting position as System Architect at our diagnostics R&D
You will be joining the diagnostics R&D department which provides support to several brands in the field of hearing diagnostics and balance solutions. The R&D team includes about 100 professionals specializing in systems engineering, mechanics, electronics, and software, with locations in both Denmark, Poland and Malaysia. We aim to create high-quality products that enhance the experiences of all users, especially children.
We have newly established a systems engineering department under R&D where we are working towards a new generation of hearing diagnostic device & solution platform, allowing us to use our innovative skills and professional knowledge in new way of defining and developing platform using systems engineering approach. To help ensure a sustainable base for future products, we are looking for a System Architect to join our team based in Middelfart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute by defining System architecture for the next generation hearing healthcare diagnostics platforms and products
- define, develop and maintain system level architectural design for diagnostics device and solution platforms in collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Investigating and outlining various system implementation options from an architectural viewpoint
- Facilitating the creation of system design contents - including the interface agreements matching the system architecture to establish high-level requirement specifications for the platform
- participate in design reviews and provide input on architecture feasibility and risk assessment.
- Guide architecture development process & tool chain within the R&D department

Your Qualifications:
You have a master’s degree in engineering or design & Innovation - combined with a broad technical background within hardware or embedded software product development.You have some years of work experience as an architect. Furthermore, you have modelling experience and are comfortable decomposing complex systems and negotiating the right interfaces and structures for optimal implementation.
To perform effectively in this role, you will ideally have:
- experience in defining product or solution level architecture views (e.g functional, physical and operational architecture)
- ability to break down a complex system into smaller modules – to be developed by teams
- experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive) is preferred but not mandatory
- exposure to product platform development or product line engineering is preferred.
- exposure to system modeling using SysML or equivalent.
- experience in working with MBSE tool chain like IBM Rhapsody, Magid draw Cameo modeler or equivalent is advantage

Advanced interpersonal communication skills, coupled with a sincere interest in technology and a goal to design system overviews that connect to a broader context.
Furthermore you create followership and enjoy interacting with many stakeholders and know that making architecture is very much about communication and involvement of the right people.
