Product Manager

Technical Product Manager

Are you the annoying type who always points out what can be improved and optimized to make the product easier and better to use?

Then we bet you belong with us scoping the next generation of products!

In Interacoustics we develop and produce diagnostics solutions for hearing and balance disorders and rehabilitation for clinicians all over the world. It matters to us to present the highest-quality products that enhance the experience of our end-users.

Broad area of responsibility – big job excitement

You will have responsibility for products such as https://www.interacoustics.com/balance-testing-equipment – just to give you an idea of complexity and diversity.

This brings you in contact with R&D, operations, sales, marketing, and a global network of key opinion leaders in the field of balance and vestibular disorders, which give you a lot of technical and commercial knowledge and inspiration of how and where to grow your business area.

You will be Product Owner for parts of the hardware portfolio. Some products are already in line to be further developed over the next couple of years, but we also have products that need to be updated before they are ready for the next step, which also is part of your responsibility. Together with R&D you will coordinate the development during the entire product life cycle from idea to development to maintenance.

You will be a key contact point when new software products are released. As the expert you will ensure that technical documentation such as service manuals, installation manuals and alike are updated correctly by marketing and Technical Writers.

You will train the tech support, customer service (direct training) and our sales organization (train the trainer) in the use of the products. This also includes assisting with installations together with local Technicians for product that are not often sold.

Expect around 40 travel days a year primarily to Europe. The travel activities are planned in advance and will take place during the working week. However, there will be some conferences taking place during the weekend you must attend.

Good team collaboration in “Balance”

You will join a team consisting of other Product Managers located in Middelfart like you, and a team of highly skilled clinicians in the fields of balance diagnostics and rehabilitation located in the USA.

We collaborate a lot to generate and try out ideas. We talk about how to handle situations and the organization. We are part of an organization where a lot still can be improved, including processes. That is good if you like us, like to make your own mark.

Despite the long geographical distance to our USA colleagues, they appear very close to us. They visit us 3-4 times a year, where we always go out for dinner one evening. In return we visit them once a year.

We will facilitate your onboarding

When you join us, we have a complete onboarding plan ready for you. For us it is essential you get the best possible start to the job and learn to proficiently handle the different areas.

We have a timetable for what you need to learn, well defined end-goals, a list of who can help you with what, definition of where you should be jobwise after 3 months and 1 year, and plenty of other exciting things.

Your mentor will be one of the other Product Managers, who has been here for a long time and knows almost everything. – What he doesn’t know, we are sure is not worth knowing.

In the goodie bag we can mention flexibility to work from home twice a week, free breakfast every Friday morning in our healthy and delicious canteen, six weeks of holiday, 24 weeks full paid parental leaves for both mothers and fathers, no child´s first sick day – we believe every parent should be able to stay home and take care of their child/children as long as their child/children are not feeling well, and off course continuous development, training and courses.
