International Sales Manager

You will join a main supplier of premium diagnostic and rehabilitation solutions used every day in hearing clinics and hospitals around the world.
From our headquarters we sell to more than 100 countries through our own sales companies and external distributors, and we are part of the global hearing healthcare group Demant who employs more than 26,000 people worldwide.
This is a newly established position focused on supporting the global growth of our vestibular rehabilitation within Virtualis’ solutions which for example cover orthopedic rehab, neurological rehab, muscle/mobility strengthening training, and balance rehab and training. The position is based at our headquarters in Middelfart.
Do you thrive at the intersection of clinical expertise and sales?
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven profile to take ownership of our distributor sales within vestibular rehabilitation. You report to the International Sales Director, Distributors.
This role is ideal for a physiotherapist who is curious about or motivated by commercial work. Experience within sales or product development is an advantage, but a strong interest in sales and willingness to learn is an excellent foundation.
In this role, you will support and grow our distributors by combining your clinical understanding of balance and vestibular rehabilitation with strong commercial execution.
Working closely with our external distributors, your main tasks will be to:
- Support and develop distributors within sales, product knowledge, and clinical understanding of VR-based rehabilitation
- Build strong relationships and create trust with distributors, physiotherapists, rehabilitation clinicians, and key opinion leaders
- Drive sales activities related to Virtualis and other balance diagnostics and rehabilitation solutions
- Assist with tenders, product launches, training, workshops, and regional trade shows and conferences
- Contribute to market development plans, forecasting, and budgets
- Travel internationally to visit distributors and customers (approx. 60-80 days per year)
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with international business development across markets and cultures.
Clinical background with commercial potential
You have an educational background as a physiotherapist and have a solid understanding of the rehabilitation area.

- Enjoy identifying opportunities and taking initiative to drive them forward
- Find international travel motivating and energizing
Experience in sales or product development would help you to an even smoother start, but it is not required. What matters most is your motivation to work with sales and your ability to engage and assist other physiotherapists in choosing the right equipment in relation to their rehabilitation practice.
