You will join a main supplier of premium diagnostic audiological equipment used every day in hearing clinics and hospitals around the world. From our headquarters we sell our products to more than 100 countries, and we are part of the global hearing healthcare group Demant, employing more than 25,000 people worldwide. 

 
The position is located at our modern Interacoustics Headquarters in Middelfart and supports approximately 200 employees onsite. Working from home is not offered due to the nature of the tasks.

You will be part of a team that also includes our canteen and executive assistant functions, working together to ensure a great everyday experience for all colleagues and visitors. We are looking for a hands-on, structured, and service-oriented Facility Manager to join our Support team. The position reports to Tina Moberg, Manager of Executive Support. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of our office building and outdoor areas, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a welcoming working environment. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to keep Interacoustics running smoothly.

A Facility Manager who keeps our workplace running smoothly 

Your primary tasks include: 

  • Oversee daily facility operations through regular walkthroughs, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment.  
  • Ensure proper functioning of all building systems, including heating, ventilation, electrical backups, lighting, plumbing, fire safety (ABA), security (AIA) and lifts.  
  • Handle minor repairs and coordinate external vendors for specialized maintenance or urgent repairs.  
  • Support internal activities by setting up meeting and event rooms, assisting with office moves, and preparing workstations for new employees.  
  • Manage inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies, including ordering replacements and keeping records organized.  
  • Maintain both indoor and outdoor areas, including minor landscaping, and overall site upkeep, while acting as the primary point of contact for facility-related requests and maintaining relevant compliance logs. 
  • Ad hoc administrative and maintenance tasks affiliated with facility management. 

A service-minded, structured, and proactive facility profile 

We imagine that you: 

  • Have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry 
  • Are service-minded with strong planning and communication skills 
  • Enjoy a role with varied tasks, both hands-on and administrative 
  • Work proactively and take responsibility for creating a safe and pleasant work environment 
  • Thrive in a role where no two days are the same 
  • Have various Health and Safety related certifications, e.g., ladder safety training, chemical management, etc.
