Audiological Support Specialist

Do you enjoy solving complex technical challenges and helping others? Do you thrive at the intersection of audiology and technology, where your expertise makes a real impact for users around the world? And are you looking for a role where you can grow your skills while working in a supportive and highly specialized team? Then you might be our new audiological support specialist at Interacoustics.

At Interacoustics, we develop diagnostic solutions that make a real difference for people with hearing and balance challenges. You will join our technical support team in Middelfart and help deliver high-quality support to colleagues and partners globally.

Where your expertise makes a real difference

In this role, you will become part of a collaborative team delivering second-line technical support to distributors and colleagues globally. You will help solve complex issues, strengthen customer capabilities, and ensure our solutions are used to their full potential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide second-line technical and clinical support on hardware, software, and system-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cases, including equipment performance, calibration, and system integration
  • Guide distributors and technical professionals with both technical and clinical context to ensure effective use of our solutions
  • Support user-related inquiries, including licensing and general IT/PC-related topics
  • Deliver training sessions, seminars, and technical workshops – both remotely and on-site in Middelfart and internationally
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, product management, sales, and customer service
  • Contribute to improving support processes, tools, and knowledge sharing across the team
  • Travel approximately 25 days per year

Your day-to-day work will include a mix of problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Where curiosity turns into expertise

You are motivated by helping others succeed through your expertise and enjoy working behind the scenes to solve complex challenges. You thrive in a collaborative environment where colleagues support each other, share knowledge, and take pride in delivering high-quality support.

You are open, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where interruptions are part of the day. At the same time, you are able to prioritize and avoid overcomplicating solutions.

We imagine that you bring:

  • A degree in audiology or a similar clinical background, or a technical degree with exposure to clinical applications (e.g., biomedical engineering)
  • A strong technical understanding and interest in how systems, software, and hardware work together
  • Ideally some early career experience within audiology, clinical environments, or technical support
  • A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to collaborate, ask for input, and contribute to a supportive team culture
  • Confidence in communicating complex topics in a clear and practical way
  • Solid IT skills and general system understanding
  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with training or presenting is an advantage but not a requirement.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who combines a clinical or audiological foundation with a strong technical curiosity. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually build deep expertise in our solutions.

Meet your new team and manager

You will report to Jóhanna Hill, Technical Support Manager, who has been with Interacoustics for nine years and brings extensive experience and a strong passion for building a supportive and high-performing team.

You will join a team of six support specialists with backgrounds in audiology and engineering, all dedicated to delivering high-quality support to customers around the world. The team is known for its strong collaboration and willingness to help each other succeed. Sharing knowledge, sparring on complex cases, and stepping in when priorities shift is how we succeed together.
