Sales Support Administrator

Interacoustics is part of Demant, a world-leading hearing healthcare group that offers solutions and services to help people with hearing loss connect and communicate with the world around them.

 

Interacoustics provides specialist calibration, repair and support services for hearing and balance equipment to the Audiology industry throughout Australia. Our customers include Hearing Clinics, General Practitioners, Community Health Centres, Hospitals, Schools and Heavy Industry. 

 

The Role:

 

To provide administrative support functions to the full Interacoustics Team
To create a positive client experience and foster a supportive team environment
To ensure operational consistency across all brands by establishing and maintaining agreed practices and procedures

Key Accountabilities:

 

• Co-ordinating the relevant logistics to ensure the delivery of equipment and supplies to the appropriate destination – incorporating the timely booking of couriers
• Providing support and order processing on relevant sales orders with the main focus on consumables and equipment
• Providing day-to-day support to the administrative team for both the sales and service teams.
• To ensure all jobs are responded to in a timely manner and with accuracy
• Assist in job coordination and in-house logistics for the service team
• Assist with quarterly stocktaking for the sales and service team.
• Able to cover the role of our Administration Service Co-ordinator.
• Any other duties as reasonably requested from time to time
• Possess the skillset to problem solve and take initiative in addressing ad hoc duties.

 

Qualifications:

• HSC or equivalent
• Further education in business or administration desirable

• HSC or equivalent

Skills and Abilities:

 

• Calm under pressure and maintain records in a timely and accurate manner
• Always maintaining a professional and friendly disposition to customers
• Strong communication skills
• High level of ability in effectively handling enquiries & disputes
• Possess attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, co-ordinating the needs of team members both locally and remotely Self-motivated and self-driven
• Possess ethics and integrity
• Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and maturity
• Displays the ambition and focus to achieve goals/objectives and the discipline, organisation and perseverance to deliver outstanding customer service

 

Knowledge:

• Ability to use in Microsoft Package is desirable
• Knowledge of inventory control is desirable
• Knowledge for stocktake is desirable

 

Experience:

 

• Experience in logistics or administration role is desirable
• Experience in customer service, is desirable
