Regional Sales Manager - West

What you can look forward to:

The Regional Sales Manager – West will be responsible for driving the sales strategy and performance within the western region of India. This role plays a critical part in achieving the company’s revenue and growth objectives by overseeing a team of sales representatives, developing strategic sales plans, expanding market presence, and ensuring top-tier customer engagement.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on regional strategies.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for the region.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for the sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and contractual agreements.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7–8 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 2–3 years in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Strong knowledge of the regional market, customer base, and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at data-driven decision-making.
  • High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
