Channel Marketing Manager
Right now, EPOS is seeking a talented Channel Marketing Manager in India to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact in the India market.
Your opportunity
As our new Channel Marketing Manager for EPOS India, you will get the unique opportunity to be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of local integrated marketing plan(s) and activities. With your expertise you will support the India sales team on how best to facilitate and grow sales with our channel partners, distributors, and resellers.
You can look forward to being responsible for ensuring an optimized customer journey and sales funnel experience while remaining focused on growing EPOS brand awareness, engagement and retention in the channel through the following but not limited to:
Partner program(s), incentive schemes, SPIFFS, product seeding samples, PR reviews, trade marketing activities and customer lead generation campaigns (both digital and in-person events i.e. exhibitions) in the India market.
You will be managing the India marketing budget and MDF funds to partners. A strong commitment to ROI and constant evaluation of our activities is required, to continuously improving our go-to-market efforts.
Your tasks and areas of responsibility will be:
Market
- Liaising with local sales on how best to support growth and retention through the integrated marketing approach, with a dedicated focus on Channel, Trade and End Customer Lead generation campaigns in the local market(s)
- Building strong relationships with our partners, be actively involved in joint calls/meetings with sales managers and create quarterly marketing plans with our key partners, and ensuring all partners are informed, engaged and excited about product launches, brand and collaboration.
- Ensure marketing materials & campaigns are implemented and rolled out in the channel with the needed local adaption (promotion, product focus etc) needed for success.
- Supporting the sales funnel with MDF funds to partners, and trade activities like: Focus days, trade sales floor events, incentives, trial programs, campaigns, promotions etc.
- Ensure ROI on channel initiatives are continuously improved and evaluated, and solid reporting attained from our partners on our activities and uploading leads from webinars, events, product samples seeding programs etc. into Salesforce tagged to campaign codes.
- Execution of third-party e-commerce platforms i.e. Amazon e-commerce marketing related activities i.e. promotional artworks, product descriptions, digital campaigns to drive traffic to ecommerce website in support of Sales team leading the Go-to-Market Strategy and Planning with HQ Amazon team.
- Be the brand ambassador in the channel, ensuring materials developed by partners are according to the EPOS brand guidelines. Act as a sparring partner to the channel, challenging partners to improve future marketing activations by benchmarking data points available.
- Execution of local agreed marketing budget for all activities with approval of spends from Marketing Director, APAC.
- Take regular stock of merchandise quantity in warehouse and send out merchandises and samples after reviewing ad-hoc requests.
Internal relationships and collaboration
- You will report to the Director Sales & Marketing- India, based in Bangalore.
- Reach local sales goals together with sales directors and regional marketing managers.
- Develop local channel and partner strategy in collaboration with global and regional marketing
- Provide input in development of global marketing campaigns, ensure local ideas, market trends are fed into global deliverables.
- Ensure scale in region by grouping initiatives (events, incentives, campaigns, promotions) together with head of regional marketing.
- Provide input for the Global/Regional marketing strategy
- Provide input for the local sales and marketing strategies. Share best practice with Channel Marketing Managers across countries.
Ideally you have:
- A bachelor’s degree within BA, Marketing, Communication or Advertising
- Minimum 3 years channel/trade marketing experience
- B2B environment experience
- Partner/reseller management experience
- Budget management experience
- Brand or industry experience
- Salesforce and marketing automation knowledge
- Excellent in written and verbal communication in English
- Furthermore, the role requires that you are able to travel throughout India, and you are located in Bangalore or max 45 min travel distance from home to office.
