Data Driven Engineer

Do you have experience working with data and statistics, including building data pipelines, ensuring data is correctly structured, and maintaining test databases? Would you like to make a difference on tomorrow’s hearing aid products? If so, you might be our new Data Engineer. 

Part of our R&D-unit

You will become part of the Clinical Performance Team, which is an R&D-unit where the goal is to secure the clinical performance of the coming hearing aids. The team you will work together with consists of a diverse group of engineers that truly support each other.

We are at the frontier of the latest technology, constantly working to improve hearing solutions for our users to strengthen and develop our business.

Statistical analysis and data handling

In this role your main responsibility will be: 

  • Conduct statistical analysis of the data collected from clinical tests and automate the generation of reports and charts. 
  • Design and maintain data pipelines to collect, structure, and prepare data for large-scale analysis
  • Provide sparring and help for Clinical Audiologists and Developers regarding data, statistics and methods.

R, Python and SQL

Additional tasks will be:

  • Develop and maintain analysis tools for clinical test data using programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL 
  • Maintain internal tools and servers
  • Apply machine learning techniques to design and evaluate clinical tests, ensuring they are reliable, valid, and efficient

Interest in clinical test evaluation and data handling

We expect you to hold a master’s degree in engineering or IT with a clear interest in statistics, databases, machine learning, or similar. 
It is considered an advantage if you have experience in clinical test evaluation with a biomedical engineering background or similar profile.
You are an experienced programmer and have a strong interest in working with psychoacoustic and physiological data. You also have proven documentation skills. Familiarity with data pipeline architecture is viewed as beneficial for those interested in this position. 
As a person, you are service-minded as you will be working with various stakeholders across the company.
