Student assistant with a flair for acoustics and programming for Eriksholm Research Centre
Are you passionate about working in a laboratory environment to help improve the lives of people with hearing loss? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Eriksholm Research Centre!
Eriksholm is seeking a student assistant (for approx. 10-15 hours per week) to commence as soon as possible, to aid in the following tasks:
- Programming demonstrators in Matlab/Python.
- Management of laboratory equipment (e.g. documentation, coordination etc.)
- Technical/acoustic measurements in the laboratories (e.g., reverberation time, impulse responses)
- Technical support in the labs (problem identification, debugging, correspondence with IT)
About you:
- You have experience with programming (ideally Matlab)
- You are holding/about to hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have just started/about to start a master’s degree.
- You have a keen interest in acoustics and signal processing.
- You have a keen interest in experimental practices.
- You possess organizational skills, and you enjoy working with tables, Gantt charts and flow diagrams.
- You have excellent oral and written English skills.
- You are willing to commute to Eriksholm (Snekkersten) once or twice a week.
