Group Treasury is on an exciting evolution and transformation journey to optimize the funding, financial risk, and cash management setup of the Demant Group. You will be an integral part of ensuring and developing the best possible treasury support to the Demant business. Our team emphasizes collaboration and supporting and sparring with business and team members.
The position
As our Treasury Specialist you will report to the Head of Group Treasury and be part of a treasury team consisting of 6 skilled specialists.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- To monitor and manage group financial risks exposures and hedging activities.
- To assist various group funding initiatives, including ensuring obtaining and distributing efficient funding across the group.
- Together with the team to ensure timely and effective group liquidity management, managing banking relations, and ensuring financial compliance activities.
- Together with our team to deliver timely and high-quality reporting to top management.
- To lead your own projects and analysis.
- To function as a treasury business partner to the Demant Group companies.
About you
- You hold a relevant educational background in finance or economics. You have a good knowledge within Corporate Treasury, Financial institutions, or treasury advisory with minimum a couple of years of relevant experience.
- You are a team player who promotes collaboration and sparring. You proactively seek to improve processes and find better solutions, while remaining observant about business needs, both in your approach to tasks and in your communication.
- You understand and have an interest in interest rates and FX risk as well as cash management principles.
- You possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to process, analyze, and communicate financial data to ensure effective decision making. Being a strong user of Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous. Being fluent in English is a must (corporate language).
