Technical Documentation Specialist - Shape the Future of Product Data at Demant

At Demant, we’re on a mission to redefine what’s possible in hearing healthcare and connectivity. As we expand our Hardware Platform and Connectivity projects, we’re looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist to join our experienced and supportive team.
About the Role
In this newly created position at our headquarter in Smørum, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely release of technical documentation and product data across the development and production lifecycle. You’ll support our Electronics Product Data Management (PDM) efforts and help shape the future of how we manage and deliver data.
What You’ll Do
Product Data Management (PDM):
- Create and maintain BOMs, parts, baselines, and technical documentation.
- Ensure timely documentation releases aligned with project milestones.
- Manage data updates through Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Train Developer Engineers and stakeholders in documentation tools and processes.
PDM System Administration:
- Act as a superuser for our PDM system (Enovia).
- Coordinate and manage Design Changes, ECRs, and ECOs.
- Collaborate with Enovia-IT to integrate and validate new functionalities.
What You Bring
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of product data and change management.
- Effective use of PDM systems (preferably Enovia).
- Background in electronics and technical documentation.
- Highly developed skills in both organization and communication.
- An engaged, can-do attitude and a willingness to support others.
- Fluent in English.
- Bonus: Familiarity with SAFe or other agile methodologies.
