Student assistant for early innovation team at Oticon A/S

Here you will get a rarely seen mix of working entrepreneurial with customer problems and new product concepts, while being part of a renowned international firm. You will participate in innovation projects and engage in internal innovation activities to create an innovation culture in Demant.
We are situated in Smørum, half an hour away by train from central Copenhagen.
Key responsibilities
In our group, we collaborate with engineers, end-users and the market to quickly mature and test new ideas for people living with a hearing loss. Also, we ensure to keep innovation high on the agenda in Oticon. Your primary job will be focused on getting real user and market insights into the development projects. Some of your general tasks could be:
- Participate in and facilitate idea generation
- Build UI/UX prototypes for testing new digital concepts
- Prepare and conduct experiments and tests to validate new ideas, primarily from a user and commercial point of view
- Recruit test persons
- Participate in the implementation of internal idea campaigns and innovation events
We expect you to work corresponding to no less than 1½ days a week distributed to suit both your and our schedule. This may increase in busy periods; however, we also offer flexibility around exams and holidays.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated person with a high sense of ownership and the ability to support on all aspects of developing and running innovation processes from start to finish - your willingness to learn and carry out tasks matters more to us than a specific study program.
Furthermore, you have:
- A solid toolbox to setup the right test to validate new technical & business opportunities.
- Experience in conducting user interviews, creating personas, or journey maps to design user-friendly experiences.
- The skills to plan and organize your own tasks and ask for help if you need it.
If you furthermore possess some of the following, it will be beneficial:
- Understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to build fast prototypes e.g. using 3D-prints, apps or Matlab.
- Experience using Generative AI tools for generating ideas, analyzing user feedback, or developing digital prototypes.
- Ability to analyze user behavior and test results using tools like Excel, Python, or R to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma to create visuals for presentations and user interfaces.
- Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro for creating engaging materials for innovation campaigns and events.
- Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to help create interactive prototypes or automate testing processes.
We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible and who is at the final year of the bachelor or the first year of the Master. You are a student at DTU, ITU, KU, CBS or another relevant field.
