Student Assistant Indirect Procurement

About the job:
You will become part of the Indirect Procurement team within the Global Procurement organization, and work in close collaboration with many business stakeholders. More specifically, you will be involved developing tenders and supporting the Category Managers in their strategic initiatives with our suppliers. Consequently, your areas of responsibility and your tasks are very broad and varied. Some of your tasks include:
- Support the team in supplier evaluation and selection processes.
- Help manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Support the Category Managers in their work across our stakeholder landscape, Operations, Hearing Care, Marketing or IT.
Your background and personal competencies:
You are ideally in the third year of your Bachelors or first year of Masters within supply chain, or business administration and have a keen interest in pursuing a career within procurement.
Your style of work is characterized by you being proactive. Working independently and taking responsibility is second nature to you. You are someone who likes taking tasks, implementing them and seeing them to completion.
To achieve growth in your new role, you possess the following qualities:
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
