About Demant
Demant is a growing, international company dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with hearing loss. Based at our headquarters in Smørum, near Copenhagen, we have an informal, supportive work environment.
Become part of a great team!
You’ll join our international Software Solutions Group (300+ colleagues in Denmark and Poland), and your role will primarily focus on software development, but also involvement in our automated testing initiatives. We thrive on tackling complex challenges, pushing boundaries, and being hands-on throughout the entire software lifecycle.
We are looking for a colleague who adopts a T-shaped mindset - ready to contribute outside of traditional development tasks when needed, always with a focus on how to automate and optimize processes where it makes sense.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
As part of a cross-functional agile team, you’ll:
- Be involved in the full software development lifecycle – from gathering requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, and delivery.
- Develop new features and improve existing functionality in our Windows-based fitting software, used by hearing care professionals to personalise hearing aids for individual needs.
- Focus on software development and test automation, including UI- and system-level testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, business analysts, and testers within your agile team under the SAFe framework, and engage other stakeholders as needed.
- Contribute to high quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and continuous feedback.
- Participate in team activities such as design reviews, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
- Support the team by stepping outside your core responsibilities when needed.
Furthermore, your ability to adhere to standard procedures and best practices are essential for all development and verification activities in a regulated medical device environment.
Your profile and qualifications
We’re looking for someone who can take technical ownership while keeping the bigger picture in view. To thrive in this role, you should be able to tick off most of the following:
• A relevant educational background (e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar).
• Experience as a software developer with solid skills in C#/.NET and familiarity with Visual Studio and WPF/XAML.
• Are committed to writing clean, maintainable code, and believe that quality assurance is a shared team responsibility embedded throughout the development process.
• Either familiar with or curious to learn about test automation tools (e.g. TestComplete, Selenium, Playwright, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enjoy working in agile, cross-functional teams where collaboration, feedback, and iterative delivery are central.
• Apply a structured and proactive approach. You are comfortable with switching between coding, testing, and supporting broader team goals
• You are fluent in English
You’re a true team player who thrives in an international environment. You are accountable for your tasks and approach complex problems methodically.
