Senior Test Automation Engineer within Audiology

The role

Developing hearing aid solutions involves a complex system where multiple components work together harmoniously. The Audiological Solutions Group leads this effort, transforming innovative ideas and advanced technology into market-ready hearing solutions. 
As a Test Automation Engineer within Audiology, you will create and maintain test scripts using a keyword scripting approach for our Automated System Test Tool. You will collaborate closely with highly skilled colleagues, including those who develop and maintain our test automation framework, as well as audiological experts. You will analyze and debug failed test case results and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders. 
We are also investing heavily in GenAI-driven test automation. You will play an active role in developing and applying these solutions to improve efficiency across the entire test automation lifecycle.

You can expect the following responsibilities in your new role:

• Develop and maintain automated system-level test scripts 
• Analyse and debug failing test cases within the audiology domain 
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines 
• Using version control systems to track changes in scripts 
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive test coverage 
• Help improve and shape the future of our test automation framework 
• Participate in the development of our GenAI tools for test automation solutions 

The team

Your new position is based at our headquarter in Smørum, Denmark. You’ll be part of a highly skilled team working with test automation, requirements engineering, and GenAI-based solutions using GitHub. 
We plan to increase our investment in test automation to broaden test coverage and improve efficiency, which aligns closely with our department’s strategic goals. The team plays a key role in the department's strategy to expand automation, improve test coverage, and increase development efficiency.

About you

You have experience in both software programming and testing and are eager to combine these skills. You are proficient with version control tools (e.g., Perforce) and automated build and test flows (e.g., TeamCity). You enjoy working with complex technical systems and have a strong ability to debug automated tests and analyze results to identify root causes. Experience with GenAI technologies and software development using GitHub is considered an advantage. 
You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, allowing you to work effectively with developers, test managers, test architects, and other stakeholders. 
A Master's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audiology, or a related technical discipline is preferred
