Senior Scrum Master

The area

You will become part of the Connectivity team, which is responsible for innovating and designing all Connectivity solutions for our hearing aid products. 
Referring to the Director Connectivity your responsibility will be to create an environment for high performing team dynamics, continuous flow and relentless improvement.
The teams are responsible for the Embedded Software which controls the hearing instruments and enables wireless communication to peripheral devices like smart phones etc. The teams consist of Embedded Software developers and testers.
You will be a part of a leadership team together with Line Managers, Scrum Masters and Product Owners. Seamless collaboration in the leadership team is fundamental to our goal of developing state-of-the-art technology and products as efficiently as possible and at the same time building and maintaining a culture based on trust, inclusion, teamwork and growth.

The job

As a SAFe Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating team-level Agile processes, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement activities to ensure effective delivery of value in alignment with the organization’s targets. Coaching the team and promoting an agile mindset will play a central role in your role as a Scrum Master. The developers are part of a SAFe Agile release train (ART), organized in self-organizing
 scrum teams with product owners, who prioritize the team backlog. As a Scrum Master you are expected to ensure that the teams are set up to reach their PI objectives as well as improving the team's agility.
Your key responsibilities:

• Act as a servant leader and coach for a couple agile teams operating within a SAFe environment
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs, ensuring the team’s work aligns with program priorities
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Promote adherence to SAFe principles and Agile best practices, ensuring teams deliver high-quality, incremental value
• Support the team in meeting their commitments while tracking and reporting key performance metrics
• Assist with PI planning and ensure alignment with the broader organizational roadmap
• Work with other Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to identify and resolve cross-team dependencies
• Educate and mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and SAFe framework
• Contributing to a great leadership team centered embedded software solutions
• Encourage innovation and fail fast approach in building MVP’s

Your qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 1 year in a SAFe environment
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SAFe principles
• Great facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deal with changes, and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Additional advantage:

• Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or higher certification (i.e. SAFe Advanced Scrum Master).
• Extensive experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, PowerBI etc.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Background in Bluetooth or Wireless Communication or Hearing instrument industry
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
