Senior Engineer, Audiological Digital Signal Processing

Be at the forefront of development 
In the audiological solutions group, we are at the forefront of hearing aid development. We contribute to many steps of the development chain, for example, through maturing and specifying novel audio algorithms, optimizing new features and integrating them to our system, or helping to specify and implement testing of our products at all levels, all the while maintaining our existing portfolio of audiological features.

 

In your new role, you will in collaboration with your team have responsibilities that can include:

  • innovating, developing and optimizing state-of-the-art audiological algorithms with a focus on improving speech intelligibility by means of noise reduction, beamforming etc.,
  • work by best practices in terms of code structure, development tool updates and design for test,
  • maintaining, debugging, and improving our existing features,
  • enabling new features and hardware by integrating them to our system,
  • informally listening and testing of our instruments to quickly catch and react on unexpected behavior

Welcome to Audiological Solutions 
You will become part of the Audiological Solutions group, a part of the R&D unit Device Software. This group is responsible for innovating and designing all audiological solutions of our hearing aid products. 

 

There is a good mix of educational backgrounds in the group, which also means that we learn a lot every day from each other. We have digital signal processing engineers, embedded SW engineers, clinical audiologists, data scientists and test developers, all working together to ensure the best possible solutions for our end users.” says Henriette Understrup Pinholt and continues “And it’s also really important for us, that we have fun at work, and you will see that when you join the team”

 

You will join a skilled, cross-functional Scrum team of 6 to 9 developers working in close collaboration with other teams to produce full-stack increments of our products according to SAFe practices. Teams are working with high autonomy with support from the business side to set future directions. 

Engineer with experience in signal processing
You have a degree in Engineering with a background in signal processing as well as acoustics, psychoacoustics or similar. 

 

We are looking for someone who has experience working with audiological systems, but we are also curious to hear from you if this is an area you would like to move into.

 

You have an analytical mindset and are comfortable breaking down, learning, and navigating complex systems. You have solid foundations in signal processing and Matlab or Python programming. 

 

You see yourself as a team player who thrives in working in close collaboration with your peers and who values trust and openness. You take an extra step to ensure high quality and documentation of your own and your team’s deliveries and you are comfortable navigating a large organization and reaching out to the relevant stakeholders.
