Senior Clinical Audiologist
Do you want to inspire us with your Clinical Audiologist mindset?
At Demant, we shape the future of audiological solutions to make a real difference in the lives of our hearing aid users. We bring the latest technological innovations together in the challenging and constrained form factor that is hearing aid. Quality and attention to detail is paramount at every step of the developmental life cycle. Would you like to be part of that journey?
The role
Developing hearing aid solutions involves a complex system with many parts working in concert. The Audiological Solutions Group spearheads hearing aid feature development, driving innovative ideas and hardware through the necessary processes to transform them into commercial products.
As a Senior Clinical Audiologist, you will be integral to the software development lifecycle, ensuring that our hearing aids meet the highest standards of quality and usability. This role involves a combination of audiological expertise and collaboration.
In your new role, your responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with Product Managers and development teams on the execution of clinical tests
- Planning tests, including the creation of test questions and test design
- Developing test protocols
- Selecting and inviting test participants
- Executing clinical tests, including fitting hearing aids
- Analyzing and reporting test results
- Presenting test results to stakeholders
- Driving improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness
Your background
You hold a master’s degree in audiology or an equivalent field and ideally have experience with both hearing aid fitting and the human aspects of hearing rehabilitation. Experience with hearing aid feature validation in the context of executing clinical tests is considered an advantage but not a requirement.
The large interface in this role requires you to be outgoing and empathetic. Besides being disciplined and accountable regarding tasks and deliveries, you contribute to a positive team atmosphere with your optimism, good nature, and willingness to assist your colleagues. The working language is English. But since most of our audiological test participants prefer to speak Danish, you need to speak Danish well.
In return we offer you
An opportunity to become part of a leading hearing health care company, working at the cutting-edge of technology. By constantly pushing the boundaries we strive to be a few steps ahead of our competitors. This gives you a unique opportunity to be part of validating advanced hearing aid features while still in their infancy.
