We support the Diagnostics Leadership Team and broader organization in shaping and executing the Diagnostics strategy, managing the innovation project portfolio, and driving high-impact cross-functional initiatives. Our team leads strategic planning, facilitates decision-making, and ensures progress tracking across key priorities. You will join an industry leading supplier of premium diagnostic audiological equipment used every day in hearing clinics and hospitals around the world, and we are part of the global hearing healthcare group Demant, which employs more than 25,000 employees worldwide.

 

We are looking for an experienced profile who can strengthen our portfolio management practice by developing and improving PPM tools, templates, and routines - and by delivering clear portfolio analysis and insights for decision-making. At the same time, you will drive selected cross-functional projects that support the execution of the Diagnostics strategy. The position is based at Demant’s headquarters in Smørum, Copenhagen.

In the role of Project Manager – Strategy Execution, you will help shape and run the portfolio management cadence for our strategic and innovation initiatives – ensuring transparent prioritization, governance, and progress tracking across Diagnostics. You will translate data into actionable portfolio insights and partner with stakeholders across the organization to strengthen decision-making and execution.

 

Furthermore, you will contribute to structuring the Diagnostics strategy process and support with presentations, templates, portfolio reporting, and ad hoc analyses. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a changing, matrixed environment, enjoys working close to business decisions and leadership, and can combine a hands-on PPM mindset with strong project delivery.

Strategic execution starts with you 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support and evolve portfolio management routines (cadence, governance, and decision forums) for the Diagnostics strategy and innovation portfolio.
  • Develop and improve PPM tools, templates, and ways of working (e.g., prioritization criteria, status reporting, dashboards, and portfolio views).
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and provide insights and recommendations to support prioritization, resource discussions, and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and facilitate selected cross-functional initiatives and projects that support the Diagnostics strategy.
  • Provide operational support to Sr. Director of Strategy & PMO, including preparation for presentations to the Diagnostics Leadership Team and other business fora.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality input to presentations for senior leadership, town halls, and other key audiences.
  • Support change management efforts related to strategic initiatives and new ways of working.

 

Your qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in a global organization, managing cross-functional projects.
  • Project management skills, experience in strategy execution, and process improvement preferred.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience preparing materials for senior leadership and large audiences.
  • Structured thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Experience in change management and working in matrixed environments.
  • Collaborative, inclusive approach with organizational awareness.
  • Ability to structure processes and frameworks that support strategic execution.
  • A skilled facilitator with an inclusive and collaborative mindset.
  • High level of organizational awareness and experienced in building business acumen.
