Demant develops, produces and sells hearing healthcare solutions worldwide so hearing-impaired people can experience the sounds of life and get a better quality of life.

 

Audika is the retail part of Demant. We are represented in 20+ countries and have more than 4,500 hearing care stores in our international network.

 

We want to ensure that our customers get the same brand and customer experience no matter which store they enter, and that our employees have good working environments.

 

Due to our rapid network expansion, we are in the process of optimizing our Furniture & Fixture sourcing to strengthen the brand consistency and operations. For this we need one more Project Manager for our well-functioning and experienced small team called ‘Store Development & Experience’.

A newly created job as Project Manager

 

Your overall objective is to:

  • Support local markets with the Implementation of general contractor tender processes in close collaboration with our global procurement team.  
  • Support the local markets in store execution according to the ruling global store standards with use of the defined furniture sourcing processes

 

In more detail your tasks will be to:

  • Assist markets in reaching excellence in the execution of local store projects with respect to time, cost, and brand quality.
  • Define and develop a workflow-driven digital project management tool to support the store project process, ensuring consistent execution and brand governance.
  • Translate commercial and operational needs into clear briefs for external vendors.
  • Establish and maintain excellence processes for regional sourcing of furniture, fixtures, claims and spare parts including vendor management (time, cost, quality and service levels).
  • Vendor management- and performance reviews.
  • Provide daily support to markets (e.g., local vendor performance reviews, RFPs, rebrands).
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with key stakeholders.
  • Create execution guidelines, tools, and training materials for markets.
  • Train markets in store development skills, brand standards, and ways of working.
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives, delivering on scope, time, and budget.

 

Besides working with stakeholders in Global Marketing and Procurement, your absolute key stakeholders are the local Real Estate Responsible / Store Responsible and vendors.

 

The ability to manage changes, create trust and brand coherence combined with the ability to move things through is the center of this role.

 

You must expect around 20-30 days of traveling visiting key stakeholders. The traveling will either be alone or together with one of the others from the team or from the procurement team.

You will join a team consisting of your manager, and one more Project Manager and multiple dedicated store Development colleagues across the markets. Both are very experienced in this area, and both will help you settle into your new position.

 

Like your team members you will be dedicated to a selected portfolio of markets for you to support.

Experienced Project Manager with good stakeholder management skills

 

  • You come with experience from a similar position ideally in retail or health care.
  • You are a structured Project Manager with a commercial mindset and project planning and process implementation skills.
  • You are proficient in managing large-scale retail solution developments that encompass sourcing physical inventory, forecasting, vendor management and logistics.
  • You have experience in effectively collaborating with a range of cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
  • You can navigate in a large international and multi-cultural company, where you can use your networking abilities, and you can collaborate widely across the organization, global and local, at all levels.
  • You have a can-do attitude.
  • You are fluent in English; written and oral.
  • And just as important: You can start from day in Smørum, Denmark, as this is where the job based.
