IT Project Manager, Manufacturing & Supply Chain - Global IT

Join Hearing Aids IT supporting the Hearing Aids business of Demant

You will be part of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, located in Global IT, where we deliver IT solutions for the Hearing Aids Business of Demant, including Global Operations.
You will join a team of 44 people located in Denmark, Poland and Mexico. Here, you will find other IT Project Managers, IT Application Consultants, IT Managers and IT Solution Architects.

Implementation of a Planning system and a new ERP solution for Global Operations

You will be a key player in implementing a new planning system (Kinaxis) in our Planning department. Here, you will take on the role as IT Project Manager and, together with the Business Project Manager, plan the full project life cycle. Furthermore, you will set direction, lead, engage and motivate an IT project team as well as sub-contractors to deliver the project scope within agreed time, quality, scope and budget. In time, you will also be one of the IT Track Leads in our ERP program. To sum up, you can look forward to the following responsibilities:

  • Work out the Business Case together with the Business Process Owner and hold this as a foundation for decision making throughout the project life cycle.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, scope the project, set project objectives and establish the relevant project organization, as part of the project charter for approval.
  • Lead a project team to deliver large and complex IT deliverables in close cooperation with the Business Project Manager, Business Process Owners and Project Owner.
  • Manage the project’s stakeholders in Global IT, Global Operations and Finance.
  • Support the change management of the project, together with the Business Project Manager, and make sure the implementation is well adopted when the project goes live.

Experience with Supply Chain processes and Project Management principles

To succeed in the job, you need to have a good understanding of supply chain processes and ERP systems. Furthermore, you see yourself leading IT projects in a virtual and global world. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of project management principles and methodologies, and you combine this with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Finally, you make use of a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
You probably have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. In your current position, you are most likely working as an IT Project Manager or similar with a focus on ERP systems within the area Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. To sum up, we are looking for a new colleague who has the following qualifications:

  • Some years of experience in IT project management or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Understanding of both Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
