As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing the rewards practices in Demant. Joining us, you will work out of our Demant HQ in Smørum, Denmark and you will be reporting directly to our Head of Global Rewards. Right now, we are 3 people in the team and together we ensure an attractive offer to our employees, enabling Demant to attract and retain key talent.
Our work is a specialized area of global remuneration focusing on rewards programs development and execution, managing costs, analyzing market trends, driving employee experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organization goals. In the end, we are responsible for employee rewards domain across all sites and countries globally.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design, implement and manage comprehensive employee rewards solutions (job architecture, salary ranges, salary/incentive structures, pay policy, allowances, bonuses, sales compensation, deferred compensation, jobs evaluation, benchmarking, surveys participation, rewards processes management etc.) which meet the needs of Demant’s diverse workforce while supporting Demant’s objectives globally
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to employee rewards
- Analyzing market data to assess the organization's competitive position including rewards programs coverage/evaluation/benchmarking, communication, cost analysis
- Select and negotiate with vendors and manage relationships with rewards providers.
- Develop and conduct communications, presentations and training sessions to ensure employees are aware of and understand the rewards solutions and how to make use of individual rewards package
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of rewards programs and recommend improvements
- Focus on global rewards solutions standardization, unification and efficiency.
- Collaboration with multi country, cross-functional stakeholders and country compensation and benefits specialists following remuneration policy to achieve company objectives
Internally, you will work closely with HR Teams, Finance, Tax, IT and other departments to ensure seamless rewards designs and administration. You can expect 5-10 days of travel per year.

We are looking for a person who likes to oversee complex global rewards programs. The role also requires a dynamic and customer-centered attitude in a cross-country and cross functional environment.
You probably have a Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related to another relevant field. You combine your education background with several years of experience, where you have been working with global rewards program design and management. We also expect that you are proficient in spoken and written English, since it is our company language. Furthermore, we expect you to possess the following skills and competencies:
- Knowledge/experience in Mercer Jobs Evaluation methodology
- Able to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to employee rewards (Experience in DK collective agreements)
- Attention to detail in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of information.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Across geographies stakeholder management skills, change and project management skills
- Ability to adopt a user perspective in process design and execution.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively, with a good sense of diplomacy and situational adaptability
- Competence to build and utilize relationships skills to achieve goals without solid line authority
- Global business acumen and continuous improvement attitude
- Advanced computer skills including specific experience with SAP, or other HR management systems and Microsoft Excel
