A Strategic Partnership at the heart of Diagnostics

We are looking for a highly capable and experienced Executive Assistant to support Anne-Karen Hunt, the Diagnostics President, and the Diagnostics Leadership Team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Diagnostics President is part of the Demant Executive Leadership Team and part of the Executive Assistant role is to have close collaboration and coordination with the Executive Office.

 

This role goes beyond traditional diary management. It requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual who can anticipate needs, manage shifting priorities with composure, and operate with a high degree of discretion and emotional intelligence. It is important to have a structured and detail-oriented approach – always be two steps ahead on all activities to deliver high quality-work and anticipate and adjust for problems or roadblocks. You will play a critical role in enabling the leadership team to focus on strategic priorities by ensuring the smooth coordination of their day-to-day activities.

 

Participation in the leadership team meetings, ensuring actions and decision are captured and followed up on is a driver for being able to fulfill the role. There will be a close collaboration with the Diagnostics Strategy Management function to ensure coordination, planning and execution of activities in the year wheel such as leadership team meetings, off-site events etc. The position is based at Demant’s headquarters in Smørum, Copenhagen.

 

How you will make a positive difference

Responsibilities include complex calendar and travel management, meeting preparation and follow-up, stakeholder liaison (both internal and external), and handling confidential information with the utmost professionalism. You’ll also be expected to build strong relationships across the business, act as a point of contact on behalf of the President and take ownership of key administrative processes to ensure operational efficiency.

 

Other tasks – but not limited to, are:

  • Be a close partner to and manage calendar for the Diagnostics President, including travels, visa application, completing expense reports etc. with precision.
  • Proactively manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings across time zones.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, briefing documents, and follow-up actions with minimal guidance.
  • Be part of coordinating, planning and executing activities in the annual planning cycle.
  • Oversee long-term and forward-looking planning to enable team members to align their deliverables.
  • Be a trusted liaison between the Diagnostics President and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and prioritize emails, flagging critical issues and drafting responses when appropriate.
  • Support project tracking, documentation, and internal communications.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Take minutes at Diagnostics Leadership Team meetings, ensuring accurate capture of key discussion points, decisions, and action items.
  • Track and follow up on action items for all team members to ensure accountability and progress.

 

This role will work globally across the business and interact at all levels which is why building strong and sustainable business relationships will be key to succeeding.

Your experience and executive edge

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting senior executives or partners within consultancy firms or similarly high-pressure, client-focused environments.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a PA or Executive Assistant, preferably in a consultancy or high-performance corporate environment.
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), and other relevant programs like Concur and Egencia.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent education combined with solid experience.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to Detail: You catch inconsistencies in documents or meeting invites before they reach the President and have a level of pride in your work.
  • Relationship Building: You build rapport easily across all levels of the organization and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
