Drive Strategic IT Architecture and Digital Transformation in a Global Enterprise
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to guide the transformation of infrastructure, enterprise platforms, security and cross-functional IT architecture across a global organization. Joining us, you will be developing the digital solutions across Demant, ensuring that our solutions are fir for purpose by incorporating the latest technologies, focusing on innovation and leveraging AI and other contemporary solutions.

Play a Pivotal Role in Shaping the IT Landscape

In this role, you will act as the anchor point for IT architecture across multiple domains, ensuring coherence, synergy, and business alignment, enhancing business processes with innovative, scalable solutions. You’ll work closely with domain architects, IT leadership, and business stakeholders and provide architectural direction, designing and developing enterprise-wide architecture. 
You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Data Governance Management. Daily you will be and will be serving as the Enterprise Architect in our EPIS organisation (Enterprise Platforms, Infrastructure, and Security)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead Infrastructure, Security and Platform Strategy – Define, evolve, and align enterprise infrastructure, security and platform architecture with business and technology strategy
• Have an Overview and Be Unifying – Maintain a cross-functional perspective and serve as a unifying architectural voice across domains and stakeholders
• Enable Coherent Architecture Across Domains – Ensure architectural consistency across Applications, Platforms, Infrastructure, and Security
• Enhance Business Value – Translate business priorities into effective architectural solutions that drive measurable outcomes
• Lead the modernization of systems, leveraging cloud (Azure), automation, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies
• Ensure Architectural Governance and Integrity – Evaluate vendor solutions, optimize performance and cost, and uphold architectural integrity and scalability
• Communicate, Collaborate Effectively, and Execute – Build effective relationships with IT and business units, promoting architectural awareness and enabling collaboration across all layers of enterprise architecture (business, data, application, and technology)

What we are looking for

• Broad experience in IT architecture, with depth in areas: Applications, Enterprise Platforms, Infrastructure, Security
• Experience in enterprise architecture within a global business environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills—able to build bridges between business and technology
• Strategic mindset with the practical ability to deliver, guide execution and provide technology leadership and direction 
• Experience working closely with development and operations teams
• Practical experience in IT transformation and modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure
• A collaborative, proactive approach and an interest in delivering innovative IT solutions that enhance business growth

Recruitment Timeline

We will begin to invite candidates for interviews after the application deadline. The first-round interviews are scheduled for the 4th, 6th, 10th and 11th of June. You can expect the final round of interviews to be held around the 16th and 17th of June. Our ambition is to have a person starting in the role after the summer holidays in the beginning or middle of August.
