Director of Oticon Training and Audiology
We are looking for a Director of Oticon Training and Audiology to join our Hearing Aid Export department. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of audiological knowledge across Demant’s export markets.
You will be a key driver of global training initiatives, a thought leader in audiology, and a connector of insights between markets and the Oticon brand and research teams at Oticon Headquarters.

You will lead the development and delivery of audiological knowledge across Demant’s export markets. You will be a key driver of global training initiatives, a thought leader in audiology, and a connector of insights between markets and the Oticon brand and research teams at Oticon Headquarters. This role fits individuals who have a keen interest in hearing science, are culturally aware, are prepared to travel internationally, and seek to advance the methodologies of knowledge sharing and implementation.
Susanna Løve and her Oticon Audiology Team will be co-hosting the position, and the right candidate will spend sufficient time (current thinking is 1-2 days pr. week) with Susanna’s team exchanging knowledge, thoughts and ideas.

Firmly grounded in your audiology background and market insights, you will lead the creation and delivery of training programs for professionals in diverse markets.

In this job, you must stay informed about clinical and scientific audiological research and convert insights into practical applications that are appropriate, valuable, and personalized for the audiences you are addressing.
Other interesting tasks in this job are:
- Develop innovative formats for knowledge dissemination, including webinars, podcasts, interactive modules, and immersive workshops.
- Travel internationally to engage with partners, understand local needs, and tailor training accordingly.
- Build valuable relationships with distributors, clinicians, and educators across markets and cultures.
- Knowledgeable and responsive/agile Audiology support – also to the level of supporting customers with trouble-shooting, fitting, connectivity issues etc.
- Capture and share market-specific audiological insights to inform product development, marketing, and strategic decisions.
- Represent export market perspectives within Demant’s global audiology community.
This position involves that you can travel internationally up to 60 days.

In the Export team you are joining a team of 20 colleagues. We have different backgrounds from being sales people to audiological trainers over project managers, back-office people and business developers.

The position is based in Smørum just outside Copenhagen with easy access by public transport.
Experienced trainer with a background in Audiology
You have a degree in Audiology or a closely related field, and significant practical experience within audiology to connect the dots between science, business, and education and translate audiological knowledge into actual value in the clinics.
You have experience in training, education, or clinical leadership. You know how to present, communicate and facilitate complex material to different recipients.
