Analog IC Engineer

Denmark
Smørum

We are looking for a motivated Analog IC Designer to join our chipset department at Demant, where you will contribute to the development of our future hearing instrument integrated circuits. We develop the chipsets used in our hearing instruments and accessories.

Our goal is to maintain technological leadership in our products by developing innovative silicon solutions that deliver high-quality audio, connectivity, artificial intelligence, and rechargeability, all in the smallest possible form factor and with the lowest possible power consumption.

Working on the Next Generation

By joining our Analog IC Design group, you will be a part of developing our next-generation chipset. We are working on various types of circuits in an advanced process node. As an Analog IC Designer, you will participate in all phases of the development, from specification, schematic design, and layout to verification of the fabricated ICs.

In the later parts of the development phase, you will act as an interface to our internal customers, ensuring smooth integration of the developed ICs into our platforms.

The Team

The team consists of highly skilled and experienced engineers who embrace an open and inclusive way of working, where sharing knowledge and ideas is a fundamental part of our culture. We work in Scrum teams, where the team members share the responsibility of delivering the high quality and high-performance solutions for our chipsets.

Continuous development of your technical skills is an important part of the role, including opportunities to attend technical courses and conferences covering the latest developments in the field.

Do you have the right skill set?

We expect you to have a M.Sc. or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in analog IC design and several years of industry experience.

We work with a wide range of circuit types, including audio-processing circuits, data converters, RF IC design, power and battery management circuits, voltage and current references, I/O and ESD design. We expect you to have experience with some of these types of circuits, be comfortable working with transistor-level design and be motivated by taking on new design challenges.

Experience with behavioral modeling and mixed-signal IC design is required. Furthermore, you should be familiar with device validation and measurement techniques.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a collaborative and self-driven engineer who works well in a trust-based environment. You combine keen attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize effectively.

You take pride in delivering high-quality solutions and know when a task has reached the right level of maturity to create value and move projects forward. Most importantly, you bring a constructive mindset and a solid motivation for analog IC design.
