Role Purpose (Why does the role exist?) 

This position is responsible for proactively partnering with the sales leadership team to provide strategic insights that enhance business effectiveness and identify key drivers of business performance. This role champions the organisational culture of using data driven decision-making, through a strong collaboration with the Training team to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs.

 

You will be responsible for interpreting large datasets into valuable insights and actionable recommendations that enhance client experiences and drive positive business outcomes. Additionally, this role will actively contribute to shaping strategic decisions by providing insightful recommendations that leverage both historical data and predictive analytics.

Strategic Insights – Work closely with the Sales management team to provide data insights for Sales, Marketing, Operations and Planning meetings. Provide insights that enable Sales and Training Managers to direct focused clinic activities. These actions will support coaching to provide an exceptional client experience, that drives business results.

 

Business Partnering: Develop strong partnerships with Sales management, Commercial Excellence, IT, Finance, Marketing/Contact Centre to enhance the role of business intelligence within the organisation. The collaboration aims to integrate data driven insights into strategic and operational decision-making process.

 

Data Knowledge - Investigate, analyse and interpret business information to enhance sales insights. Establish organisational processes in conjunction with Sales and Training leaders to enhance clinic focus and activities. Work closely with the Training team to develop a comprehensive training program aimed at elevating data analytical literacy across the organisation.

Other responsibilities:

  • Driving analytical leadership by working closely with business leaders.
  • Proactive and humble to establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders and utilise excellent communication skills to influence support for best practice.
  • Performance tracking to improve performance through analysis and identifying key business drivers.
  • Regular monitoring of regional and divisional territories and identifying areas for improvement in performance.
  • Ensuring positive commercial outcomes, supported by quality data insights and information from managers.
  • Develop a workforce planning model in collaboration with the sales leadership team and HR to optimise resource allocation in clinics.
  • Understanding business needs and systems, utilising existing and new reports to support decision-making.
  • Designing, building, enhancing and maintaining insightful data visualisation
  • Extracting, analysing and reporting on data such as:
    • Regular sales funnel analytics for the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Planning meetings.
    • Ad hoc analysis to support business leaders and critical decision-making
    • Detailed analysis of key drivers of profitability across the business
    • Developing forecast models to improve clinic forecasting and performance
  • Building a supportive analytics culture across the business.
  • Ensure data is managed carefully in line with company policies.
  • Be integral to the launch of the new business analytics tool, Google Looker

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Degree in economics, commerce, finance, accounting, data science, or similar (essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Advanced data visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Google Looker) skill (essential)
  • Project management qualifications (desired)
  • Minimum 3 years in similar commercial position or related analytical experience.
  • Proven experience in building strong working relationship with stakeholders.
  • System experience in data visualisation tool such as Google Looker or Power BI.  
  • Working experience in clinical industry, retail, medical device or healthcare is highly desirable.  
  • Strong business partnering skills who excels in collaboration with different stakeholders to identify, execute, and proactively follow up on opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along the resilience in navigating cross-functional organizations.
  • Commercial mindset and analytical skills being able to convert analytics into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in data visualisation tool such as Google Looker and Power BI.
  • Predictive analytical and statistical modelling skills are highly desirable.
  • Advanced ability to present complex analysis in an easily understandable format.
