DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will help deliver and optimize our Azure platform that power Demant's hearing healthcare innovations.

You will collaborate with agile application teams to maintain our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD toolchain. The ideal candidate thrives in a DevOps environment, creating efficient automation solutions while supporting development teams with their platform needs.

As part of IT Operations, you will balance security and compliance requirements with developer agility, working closely with our Cloud Center of Excellence team to ensure our platforms remain secure, compliant, and scalable.

Your Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations and automation scripts for efficient platform management
• Set up application landing zones for new deployments
• Administer and manage Azure DevOps configurations and connections
• Provide first and second-line support for platform-related issues
• Oversee certificates and secrets for App Registrations
• Work with application teams to enhance platform performance and best practices
• Ensure compliance and cost optimization across cloud subscriptions
• Support platform management tools and assist development teams with technical needs

To Qualify for the Role:

Education & Core Expertise: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, Azure Portal, and cloud management

Technical Skills: PowerShell scripting, Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines, Git version control, Azure PowerShell module (Az PowerShell), Azure CLI, and Bash scripting for pipeline automation. Solid understanding of C#/.NET development

Methodologies & Problem-Solving: Experience with DevOps and Agile principles in cloud environments. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Communication & Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills: Kusto Query Language (KQL), ITIL knowledge, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience, and background in healthcare or regulated industries
