Production Engineer
Production Engineer for medical device production
Do you have known measuring techniques and are an engaged practitioner with insights in both electronics and mechanics? Then we have the job opportunity for you.
We are looking for a Production Engineer who will ensure a stable and streamline production/test of the amplifiers used in our hearing aids. The amplifier is the heart of the hearing instrument. It is built out of hundreds of small, surface mounted electronics. It is state-of-the-art technology within microelectronics, focused on size and reliability.
You have good technical know-how and want to work with our highly technological production equipment and develop your career in an acknowledged, international, and renowned company with the development of advanced hearing solutions.
Ensure stable production
Your daily responsibilities will focus on ensuring stable production within a smaller team of two colleagues. Your tasks will include providing technical support to production, debugging, repairing test equipment, and conducting maintenance on production machines. Additionally, you'll be actively involved in ongoing optimization and improvement initiatives.
“We are first in line when there is an issue. Is this something we can fix ourselves, or do we need technical backup?” says your new manager David Lehrman and continues “Also, tell me what you see in the production. Our feedback to for example R&D is important and will ultimately make our products better.”
There will be new challenges constantly as we work with the newest technology and the newest equipment in an FDA approved facility.
Furthermore, your tasks will also include:
- Introducing new products on the machines.
- Development of test setups.
- Debugging of produced devices.
- Purchasing of new equipment and installation of new production equipment.
- Participating in development projects.

Everyone makes them, as long as we learn from them, and we don’t repeat them.”
We are a part of Global Amplifier Production, which spans across Denmark and Poland, with an organization of approximately 350 people across both sites. Our site is in Ballerup in the outskirts of Copenhagen.
Experience with electronics and measuring techniques
You have an educational background in electronics, maybe as an electronics technician or similar.
It is essential for you to be knowledgeable in both analog and digital measurement methods, whether gained through your education or professional experience. Additionally, experience in electrical testing is key.
As a good practitioner, you should enjoy practical work and possess insights into complex systems integrating both electronic and mechanical components.
“For me, it’s important that you are curious, that you can manage your own tasks and like to take responsibility. You show initiative and have engagement to act proactively and solve problems and issues”, says David.
