ABOUT THE ROLE

The National Training and Onboarding Manager leads Audika’s Training & Onboarding function, ensuring new clinic and contact centre employees are set up for long‑term success. This role designs and delivers a best‑in‑class onboarding program that builds capability early, embeds consistent standards, and aligns new hires with Audika’s culture, expectations, and ways of working.

In this role, you will establish strong performance foundations by defining clear best practices across clinical care, client experience, operational processes, and professional behaviours, as well as own the development of a rolling 12‑month training and onboarding roadmap in partnership with Sales & Operations, Audiology, and Contact Centre leaders.

You will maintain subject matter expertise across clinical and operational processes, ATRT, systems, and compliance requirements, ensuring training content is high‑quality, structured, and consistent, and work cross‑functionally to ensure all training remains current, practical, and aligned with business priorities.

 

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, IF YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in learning, onboarding, clinical training, or capability development within healthcare or similar industries (essential)

  • Minimum 5 years’ people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and workload prioritisation (essential)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience designing structured onboarding programs, competency frameworks, and learning pathways (essential)

  • Demonstrated experience facilitating clinical, systems, and operational training in group and virtual formats (essential)

  • Demonstrated experience assessing new hire capability and readiness, including behavioural and technical components (essential)

  • Clinical audiology or hearing care experience (essential)

  • Experience supporting adoption of new systems, processes, or clinical initiatives (desired)

  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Sales & Ops, Audiology, and IT (desired)

 

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Leadership & Team Management — Proven ability to lead and develop a small team, set expectations, coach effectively, and build a high‑performance culture

  • Training & Facilitation — Advanced capability in designing and delivering engaging training using adult learning principles

  • Instructional Design — Skilled in creating structured learning pathways, onboarding materials, and competency assessments

  • Evaluation & Readiness — Confident in assessing new hire performance and making evidence‑based recommendations

  • Subject Matter Expertise — Strong understanding of clinical and operational best practice, products, systems, ATRT, and processes

  • Collaboration & Influence — Strong stakeholder engagement across Sales, Contact Centre, Audiology, ComEx, HR, and clinic teams

  • Communication — Clear verbal and written communication, able to simplify complex concepts

  • Digital Capability — Comfortable with learning platforms and content tools (e.g., Fuse, Articulate 360)

  • Adaptability — Able to integrate new initiatives, system changes, and compliance updates quickly and effectively

  • Travel & Flexibility — Willingness to travel interstate and support in‑person or group‑based sessions as required

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master of Audiology or equivalent clinical qualification (essential)
  • Tertiary qualification in Adult Education, Learning & Development, or related discipline (desired)
  • Certification in instructional design or capability development (desired)
