The Role:

 

This role supports the property team in response to recent growth in acquisition and network development activities. It involves a hands-on approach to various property tasks, including contract procurement, property leasing, utility management, and maintaining property records. Key responsibilities span managing contracts across the Asia Pacific, overseeing clinic rebranding and refurbishments, and ensuring compliance with statutory licenses and certificates.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Negotiate new leases, renewals, terminations, and prepare final lease documents, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage property-related invoices, rental payments, and budgetary allocations (Opex and Capex).
  • Oversee refurbishments and rebranding projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Maintain property information systems, manage statutory licenses and certificates, and ensure compliance with legal obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, landlords, contractors, and councils on leases, planning, and property maintenance.
  • Manage preventative maintenance and repairs, fostering strong contractor relationships and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Develop and improve lease registers and databases for better expenditure tracking and compliance monitoring.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

 

  • 5+ years in property management and lease administration within a multisite retail environment, with expertise in lease negotiation, Retail Tenancy Act, and property laws.
  • Strong financial skills, including budgeting, reporting, data analysis, and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities while building positive relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Property Economics, with excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel interstate, supported by a current driver’s license.
