Financial Systems and Compliance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Systems and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Szczecin. Our team is part of the Demant Global finance organisation and covers employees in both Denmark and Poland.

This role gives you the opportunity to work in areas which combine finance and IT, focusing on ERP system security, role management, and compliance. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders across EMEA, ASIA Pacific, and AMERICAS regions to design and implement access controls, ensuring that our systems adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance. What tasks are waiting for you?

• Analyze business processes and define SOD rules to prevent conflicting responsibilities within our ERP systems,
• Collaborate with stakeholders on access role redesign projects and analyze ERP security configurations to implement effective role-based access controls,
• Develop access rights management process for global regions (EMEA, ASIAP, and AMERICAS), assign appropriate roles based on job functions, and conduct periodic reviews to ensure alignment with organizational changes,
• Define and enforce access control policies, configure and maintain user permissions, and manage privileged accounts through regular audits to minimize security risks,
• Generate regular reports on compliance and security status.
• Work closely with IT and audit teams to implement security measures, address vulnerabilities, and facilitate both internal and external audits.
• Maintain thorough documentation of ERP security configurations and policies, and generate regular reports on compliance and security status.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role within an international company.
• Possess strong knowledge in finance/IT security, compliance, and ERP systems (experience with AX, NAVision, and D365 is highly valued). Experience with security setup in, e.g., BI environments is welcome.
• Are proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel (experience with Power BI is a plus).
• Have a solid understanding of financial processes and the principles of segregation of duties.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and effectively communicating complex security requirements.

Due to the projects running in different countries and the international character of the team, some travelling will be needed, approximately 10-30 days a year.
