The purpose of the Bank Reconciliation role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by matching internal financial data with bank statements and identifying and resolving discrepancies.   

 

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm office based

Salary -  £27,418.86

Responsibilities

The role involves matching internal ledger entries with bank transactions whilst identifying and resolving any discrepancies.  Timely and precise postings are vital therefore you will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to investigate and resolve issues thoroughly using effective communication.

 

  • Match entries with a high level of accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal ledgers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support month-end activities, ensuring reconciliations are completed within deadlines.
  • Provide ad hoc support across the finance and purchase ledger teams

 

About You

  • A good understanding of accounts processes
  • Solid numerical skills for handling financial transactions
  • A good working knowledge of Excel
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to explain findings and collaborate effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
