Responsibilities and Key Activities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on HR matters, because sometimes they just need our support.

  • Collaborate on safety, leave management and wellness initiatives; a healthy team is a happy team. 
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation while keeping the workplace dynamic. 
  • Provide HR solutions and best practices that keep the team hearing each other loud and clear.

Requirements & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management 
  • 5 years of progressive HR Generalist or Business Partner experience. 
  • Human Resources Professional Association member in good standing; HR professional designation preferred (Certified Human Resources Professional/ Leader). 
  • Retail or Healthcare experience an asset. 
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite; comfortable adapting to new software and systems. Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/ or SAP SuccessFactors is an asset. 
  • Occasional travel may be required, but hey, road trips are a great opportunity to meet our team members!
