Scope

 

The Brand Manager leads the planning and execution of communication initiatives in the local market, translating global strategy into integrated campaigns, owned-channel activations, in-clinic collateral, and organic social content. Overseeing a team of two direct reports, they ensure a consistent, high-quality presence across all touchpoints and maintain strong relationships with media partners. The Brand Manager monitors and reports on campaign performance to demonstrate brand impact and ensures flawless execution in alignment with global frameworks.

Responsibilities

 

Brand & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute brand and product campaigns across owned and earned channels in line with the brand strategy and annual communications plan.
  • Ensure consistent application of the CVI, message house, and brand guidelines across all brand touchpoints.
  • Lead localization and execution of global brand and product campaigns for the local market.

 

Organic Social Media (Owned Channels)

  • Own the organic social media strategy and content plan, in collaboration with the Content Specialist.
  • Ensure organic social content supports brand objectives, campaigns, and key narratives while maintaining consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging.
  • Govern organic social execution, including content prioritization, approvals, and quality control.
  • Partner with Acquisition and Media teams to align on promotional moments and paid amplification, while retaining brand ownership of creative and messaging.

 

In-Clinic Collateral Brand Experience

  • Own the planning and execution of clinic brand and campaign collateral (e.g., POS, signage, educational materials, in-store activations).
  • Ensure in-clinic materials are on-brand, current, and aligned with campaign priorities and customer experience standards.
  • Partner with Operations and clinic teams to support effective rollout and execution.

 

Agency & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage brand and creative agencies to deliver campaign and content assets on time and to standard.
  • Collaborate closely with Content, Media, Acquisition, PR, and Operations teams to ensure integrated execution across channels.

 

Media Plan and Sponsorship Execution

  • Execute planned brand media initiatives ensuring all campaign elements are aligned to meet and/or exceed overall brand strategy
  • Support the Sr. Brand Manager in managing activities including, but not limited to: TV, radio, PR, social, and all other relevant brand initiatives
  • Utilize business analytics (brand awareness metrics, competition, brand surveys) to monitor performance of the brand as a whole and to provide valuable input that will further drive business objectives
  • Execute sponsorship deals, inclusive of digital and various partnership assets to deliver maximum value.
  • Work closely with Activation Specialist to align sponsorship of on-site activations with brand campaigns to ensure consistent brand messaging.

 

Performance & Insights

  • Track and report on brand and campaign performance, using insights to optimize future planning and execution.
  • Monitor brand health analytics to synthesize key insights and measure ROI and effectiveness of marketing campaigns to inform recommendations for the brands moving forward

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Strong campaign planning and execution capabilities
  • Leverages strong interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate teams, foster positive relationships, and drive high‑performance outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage agencies and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of brand governance and creative standards
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to apply consumer research, market analysis, and competitive insights to drive decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of digital and social media marketing best practices and analytics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to brand accuracy and quality.

Education and Experience

 

  • University degree in Marketing, Business or Communications (MBA an asset)
  • 5+ years’ experience in brand management
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans across multiple channels
  • Experience working with external agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supervising or leading direct reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Asana or similar tools an asset.
