Tax Manager to join our Group Tax department

The position
Your main task will be, to support the future development of the corporate income tax area in Demant, mainly in Denmark but also globally. You will also be part of our journey of creating a better transparency on the global tax compliance area and preparing and implementing new processes for Demant to keep up with new global tax legislation such as e.g. Pillar II.

You will have a lot of influence on the tax processes, and you will be offered a great opportunity to direct your area of responsibility in a self-driven manner. You will be referring to our Group Tax Director.

The Team
The Group Tax team consist of 6 dedicated and engaged colleagues specialized within transfer pricing, corporate income tax and VAT. The atmosphere in the team is relaxed and informal and you leader has a coaching and supporting approach to leadership with focus on the opportunities to grow and develop in your role.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of Danish tax calculations, tax returns and joint taxation
• Tax accounting in group annual report and local Danish statutory accounting 
• Liaise with tax authorities
• Assist on Danish and global tax related projects
• Create processes and implement solutions to meet new external demands
• Keep up with development in Danish and global tax legislation
• Partner with the business

When carrying out your tasks, you will work closely with your colleagues in Group Tax, Local- and Global Finance, and external advisors. You will obtain an in depth understanding of the Demant business and gain experience within a wide range of Danish and international tax legislation.  The Global Finance organization consists of close to 500 people. We operate in the areas of financial controlling, planning & analysis, process & projects, treasury and tax, supporting the business on a global scale.

We are no better than the people we have
You most likely hold a relevant educational background combined with additional relevant experience from a similar position or from an advisory or accounting firm 

Educational background withing accounting is considered a big plus but is not a requirement. Furthermore, it would be great if you also bring experience within ERP systems. And last, you are fluent in English, as this is our company language.
