Student Assistant Data and Audiology

Do you have skills within Data Science and Machine Learning? Do you have an interest in working with Data for Audiological applications? We are looking for a student assistant 10 hours/week to work at Oticon headquarters north of Copenhagen.

Who are we?

You will be part of a highly skilled Data team in the Audiological Solutions Group. The team helps to maintain our data infrastructure and prepare data to be used in development of audiological features for Oticon’s Hearing Instrument portfolio being sold world-wide. The team also supports in data analysis and identifying cases for data driven development.

Student Assistant – Data Team, Audiology

Your primary job is to maintain our data infrastructure and to clean data to ensure high quality data is available for development. You will also perform some data analysis tasks to support development teams.

Who are you?

As a person, you would describe yourself as someone, who works well both alone and within teams. You possess good communication skills including presenting to smaller groups and are self-driven, systematic, and adaptable. You are curious and willing to learn.

We are looking for a profile where it is an advantage if you fit the following:

  • Programming skills 
  • Python (working with libraries such as PySpark and Pandas)
  • SQL/SparkSQL
  • Understanding of and interested in good coding practices
  • Writing clear, modular and testable code
  • Version control
  • Testing implementation with a general interest in CI/CD
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms and tools such as GIT, Azure cloud and PowerBI
  • Experience working with AI in Data would be a plus
  • Data analysis skills
  • Understanding various data sets and the request
  • Data filtering/transformation
  • Data visualization
  • Proficient in English both verbally and written
  • Last 2-3 years left of your engineering studies.

You will be attached to a mentor who will coach and teach you in how we make relevant data available for development.
