If yes, look no further! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to support our IT Director in planning and communicating activities. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and communication within a dynamic IT environment.
A central role with a high degree of responsibility and flexibility
You will become part of our international, cross-functional, cross-generation team and work very closely with our application consultants, PMO and management team. In your new student job, your tasks will vary to a certain extent depending on the team's specific projects and needs, however with a strong focus on communication and planning.
- Internal communication: Your responsibilities will include drafting and editing internal communications, such as emails and articles, to ensure that messages are clear, concise, and aligned with the key objectives. Additionally, you will assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal meetings and workshops, ensuring that complex technical information is presented in an understandable and engaging manner.
- Planning: Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, including creating timelines, setting milestones, and tracking progress. In addition, assist in identifying and assessing potential risks to project success. Develop risk mitigation plans and monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively address potential issues before they become critical.
Other ad-hoc tasks are preparation and facilitation of meetings linked to project assessments, planning and arranging events and assisting our IT Project Managers with various PMO related tasks. There will also be opportunities to lead initiatives and practice your project management, change management and/or business analyst skills!
You will be employed on flexible terms that are consistent with your study (e.g., exam periods), but we would like your help approx. 20 hours per week, preferably 2-3 regular days. It is important to note that some weeks will be busier than others in relation to various projects, but the calendar of activities will be discussed and planned together with the team.

- You are currently enrolled on a higher education on BA or MA level and have a minimum of 2 years left.
- You are fluent in English – written and oral.
- You are curious, good at asking qualified questions and a born communicator who quickly establishes networks.
- You are characterized by a high degree of respect for deadlines and great desire for personal and professional growth.
- You are structured, analytical and able to proactively drive initiatives and tasks.
- You are self-driven and have the courage to run your own tasks, but at the same time humble enough to ask more experienced colleagues for advice when you encounter roadblocks.
- You are hardworking and can withstand pressure in peak periods and do not lose your good spirit.
- You are a true team player, as you will be collaborating closely with other colleagues.
- You are a proficient user of the Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams).
- If you have experience with Azure DevOps it will be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
