Senior Project Manager - Projects and Portfolio, Global Finance

We are a Finance organization located at the headquarter in Denmark with 55 great colleagues, including Financial Reporting & Compliance, Business Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Finance Systems. Globally we have +800 finance colleagues incl. approx. 150 finance colleagues in our Shared Service Center in Poland. Daily you will be working out of the Demant HQ located in Smørum.

Tasks and responsibilities

You will be contributing with project management support to projects where finance is involved. This involves daily dialogue with many stakeholders and a proactive and structured mindset.

As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for key deliveries including:

• Driving larger projects all from pre-projects, analysis and execution to follow-up.
• Implementation of a project management framework ensuring structure, buy-in and follow-up on all key finance projects.
• Taking a leading role in the project prioritization processes.
• Maintaining an update project portfolio overview and reporting on this to the Finance Leadership Team.

You will be reporting to our Senior Vice President of Finance, and you will be supported by a small team of 1-2 project managers. Expected travelling 5-10 days yearly.

About you

Your passion lies in the sweet spot between stakeholder management, a structured finance mindset and a desire to drive project progress. Currently you most likely might find yourself working in a similar project management role in a global Finance organization where you have been driving projects across Finance. Being a senior role, we expect you to have several years of experience working in a global Finance organization.

Essentially, your educational background and experience give you good insight into the finance area, enabling you to see how projects impact various areas within finance including areas like tax, treasury and financial systems. Furthermore, you have a communicative nature and a structured and systematic approach to your work.

As a person, you have a friendly and approachable nature, that makes it easy for you to engage with others. If someone looks busy you crave to ask – “can I help you?”. Finally, you are a skilled communicator and prioritize stakeholder involvement and dialogue.

Recruitment Process info:
