Senior Product Owner – CI/CD Platform (Embedded Software & Firmware)

In this position you will set the direction and lead the evolution of a critical platform used across our organization. Working closely with a highly skilled DevOps team, you’ll define how software is built, tested, and released – at scale and with increasing levels of automation and self-service.

What you do

As Senior Product Owner, you will define the vision and lead the continuous improvement of our CI/CD platform – enabling a seamless and scalable developer experience.

You will:

• Provide product leadership by defining direction, priorities, and outcomes for the CI/CD product.
• Create a frictionless, self-service developer experience across the development pipeline.
• Ensure scalable, stable, and maintainable platform capabilities in close collaboration with IT and Developer Experience teams.
• Embed operational excellence from day one, enabling sustainable and reliable services at scale.
• Identify and drive opportunities within AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, and usability improvements.
• Continuously improve build, integration, validation, and release flows.
• Prioritize the backlog using user insights, operational data, and business value.

Your contribution

You will be part of a platform team that:

• Operates 30+ services, from CI/CD systems to storage solutions.
• Manages 300 virtual machines supporting build and validation flows.
• Owns both cloud-based services and underlying physical infrastructure.

Your work will directly affect how efficiently, and reliably embedded software is delivered into hearing aid products used by people around the world.

The team consists of 8 highly skilled DevOps Engineers, and you will become part of the leadership team together with the Scrum Masters, Kasper and the Line Manager, Allan. As ONE leadership team you will work closely together to ensure the team have the best possibilities to enjoy their work and deliver best pipeline possible. We are rooted in agile values and principles (SAFe) and believe involvement and collaboration is the best way forward together.

You will report to Jonas Funk Pedersen, Director, Embedded Software. He has been with us for little more than three years. Jonas a leader who provides a wide playing field, provides trust, freedom and support to ensure you can be your fullest self every day.

What you bring:

• Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working across engineering and IT stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools such as GitLab, TeamCity, Gerrit, or similar ecosystems.
• A product-focused mindset, along with curiosity about automation, developer experience, and AI.
