Senior Financial Systems Specialist - Global Finance

Denmark
Smørum

We are looking for a Senior Financial Systems Specialist to support and enhance our global Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) landscape as part of a significant finance transformation journey. In this role, you will help design, develop, and maintain the solutions that support Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Consolidation across Demant's global finance organization.

As part of our transformation agenda, we are implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, deploying advanced Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, and replacing our EPM systems for budgeting and consolidation. Our ambition is to automate processes, standardize solutions, and provide finance professionals around the world with trusted, high-quality data that supports better decision-making.

Welcome to Global Finance

You will join Group EPM Systems, part of Group Finance. Our global finance organization consists of more than 600 professionals working across Financial Reporting & Compliance, Business Finance, Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and Financial Systems. In addition, our Shared Service Center in Poland, with more than 150 finance colleagues, plays a vital role in supporting our global operations.

Joining us, you will report to the Head of EPM Systems, and you will become part of a team responsible for driving the development and continuous improvement of Demant's finance systems landscape.

In this role, you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across the global finance organization. This includes Planning, Reporting, and Business Finance teams, as well as finance users and decision-makers involved in budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes. You will also work closely with internal teams responsible for ERP, BI, and finance systems, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable and effective solutions that support Demant's global finance agenda.

Driving the Future of Financial Planning and Consolidation

You will play a key role in the replacement and further development of our budgeting and consolidation solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the finance organization, you will translate business requirements into scalable system solutions that support critical financial processes and reporting. A key to your success will be your ability to combine good finance process knowledge with technical EPM expertise, enabling you to build solutions that create value for finance users across the organization.

Joining us, you can look forward to the following responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize EPM solutions supporting our global Financial Planning processes.
  • Ensure high data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems and business units.
  • Provide training and guidance to finance users around the world.
  • Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable EPM solutions.

What You Bring

You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, and you bring several years of experience working with Enterprise Performance Management solutions in a finance environment.

Furthermore, you have practical experience developing, maintaining, or supporting planning and/or consolidation solutions in platforms such as Oracle, Tagetik, OneStream, SAP BPC, or similar EPM technologies.

Your finance background gives you a good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, as well as how technology can effectively support them. You have experience delivering management reporting solutions and understand the importance of maintaining reliable and consistent data flows across systems.

As a person, you thrive in collaborative environments, take ownership of your responsibilities, and enjoy working at the intersection of finance and technology. Your analytical mindset enables you to solve challenges in a structured and pragmatic way. At the same time, you are a strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build productive relationships across a broad stakeholder landscape.

Working at Demant

You will be based at our office in Smørum. Once established in the role, you will have the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week.

As part of our global implementation projects, you can expect limited travel of approximately 1–2 trips per year, primarily to Szczecin, Poland, corresponding to a total annual travel time of up to 10 days.
