About the department

You will be part of the skilled Product Owner and Scrum Masters team in DHW Styles & Engine in Demant A/S and part of the wider agile communities across Demant. As a team, we grow Product Ownership and Scrum Mastering to improve value delivery and flow while ensuring a healthy team foundation and strong team dynamics.

The Role

You will be Scrum Master for agile team(s) that are part of an Agile Release Train (ART) working within the SAFe framework. Together, these teams deliver complex, high-impact hardware for Demant’s next-generation hearing aids.

 

With a solid foundation in agile leadership, data-driven flow improvement and transformation in development teams, you create clarity on goals and boundaries, empower teams to achieve outcomes that matter, and inspire continuous improvement in complex hardware development

 

You empower the team to achieve outcomes that matter and inspire agile teams in the dynamic world of hardware development. Your ability to foster psychological safety, team well-being, and sustainable workload is key for your success in the role.

As a Scrum Master, your close collaboration with the product owner and your facilitation ensure that every delivery aligns with our ambitious roadmaps, upholds the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, and drives sustainable change and continuous improvements.

Experience in hardware development and quality-managed environment is an advantage but not required. Your curiosity and learning mindset will enable you to bridge business, technical, and transformation perspectives.

Your main responsibilities

As Scrum Master, you apply SAFe principles and systems thinking to Drive team-level delivery execution and transparency while creating the conditions for the team to become a high-performing, self-managing team. You can look forward to the following primary tasks:

  1. Drive value delivery through outcome-focused execution, using feedback, flow and team-health data to improve predictability, remove bottlenecks and continuously improve both product and delivery performance.
  2. Create the conditions for teams to thrive by building trust, psychological safety, healthy collaboration and sustainable ways of working that enable both people and delivery to succeed.
  3. Apply adaptive and agile leadership, shifting deliberately between coaching, facilitation, mentoring and decisive intervention based on the needs of the team and delivery context.
  4. Communicate delivery progress and challenges clearly, influence across organisational boundaries and create engagement around necessary change.
  5. Own the identification and follow-up of team impediments, risks and dependencies. Remove them where possible, collaborate with other Scrum Masters, and escalate systemic issues to the RTE or relevant leaders.
  6. Embed quality and QMS requirements into planning, execution and continuous improvement, ensuring that documentation and evidence progress together with the product.

Could we be a match?

We are looking for an adaptive, action-oriented servant leader who combines coaching and facilitation with accountability for team flow, execution transparency, and continuous improvement.

You bring experience as a Scrum Master or Team Coach and are motivated to continue developing your leadership, coaching and delivery capabilities in a complex product development environment. Experience from quality-managed or other complex product development environments is an advantage.

You communicate clearly and concisely, create engagement, challenge constructively, and turn difficult conversations into decisions and owned actions. 

You may have a background in technical product development or be eager to learn more about hardware platforms. You are motivated by value delivery, Lean-Agile leadership, and by cultivating healthy, productive teams. You balance promoting improvement while maintaining focus on critical deliveries.
