The opportunity  

As Product Director and Team Lead, you will manage the end-to-end audiology strategy, roadmap, and market performance of hearing solution offerings by aligning market needs, technology capabilities, and business objectives. The role ensures that audiology features deliver customer and end-user value and differentiate from audiology solutions offered by competitors. 

  

As a Team Lead you will also be taking the day-to-day leadership, sparring and individual development plans with the four Product Directors and Senior Product Managers covering hearing solutions area across all hearing aid styles and variants incl. chargers and earpieces.  

  

This is a role with real impact - where you play a key role in both what we develop and why we develop it. 

What you’ll be doing  

Set strategy and portfolio direction:

  • Define the audiology strategy based on market insights, customer and user needs as well as business priorities.  

  • Identify growth opportunities and translate strategy into clear priorities and investment choices.

Own roadmap, prioritization, and execution:

  • Develop and lead the audiology roadmap with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Lead prioritization and trade-offs across epics, features, and releases.  

  • Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies and ensure strong alignment across teams and leadership forums.

Turn insight into customer and user value:

  • Translate customer feedback, user needs, market trends, and competitor insights into clear value propositions. 

  • Ensure solutions are relevant, differentiated across price points and competition, and grounded in customer journeys and target segments.

Drive business performance:

  • Set targets for adoption, satisfaction, and retention.  

  • Own product lifecycle performance from launch to phase-out and adjust based on data and market feedback.

Lead people and collaborate across the business:

  • Lead, coach, and develop your team and support a productive product organization. 

  • Work closely with Global Marketing, Sales, R&D, IT, Quality, and Operations across brands and markets.

The team  

You can look forward to becoming part of a team consisting of 14 highly skilled colleagues, including Product Directors, Senior Product Managers, and Product Area Managers.

 

Thenearest colleaguesare responsible for: fitting software incl. diagnostic- and IT integration and flow towards our hearing aids, apps for iOS and android, smart device native controls, connectivity devices and device packaging.

 

Operating within the SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework®) across the Hearing Aid Solutions area, you will act as a SAFe® Business Owner Lead and as a Strategic Theme Owner, defining and prioritizing business needs on behalf of hearing care professionals and businesses across the entire value chain. As a Lead Business Owner, you will facilitate and set priorities for the ARTs (Agile Release train) development work in the coming months.

 

You will refer toDavid Grønholm, Senior Director, Solution Planning. His leadership style is open, delegating, transparent, and informative. Add to that he is also a people person.

What you bring  

You are a strategic, commercially minded Product Director who thrives in complex environments and leads through collaboration, and you bring leadership capabilities and a commitment to help people thrive and grow.

You:  

  • Have at least 5 years of experience as Product Manager within technical products such as medical devices, hearing healthcare, audiology or similar.  

  • Have 2+ years of experience as line manager incl. leadership experience and leading small teams 

  • Have a business-focused mindset with the ability to connect strategy, product, and market impact.

  • Have experience working with complex products and multiple stakeholders.  

  • Are analytical and data-driven, with a structured approach to decision-making.

  • Are comfortable balancing competing priorities and making trade-offs.  

  • Are a skilled communicator, who can build alignment across all organizational levels.  

  • Are curious, collaborative, and motivated by creating real user value.

Your core skills include 

  • Strategic thinking and portfolio leadership.  

  • Have line management experience.  

  • Ability to manage complexity and make trade-offs.

  • Stakeholder management across the organization.   

  • Data-driven decision-making.  

  • Effective skills in communication and maintaining alignment 

  • Experience with SAFe / Lean Portfolio Management.

The position is based at our Head Office in Smørum, Denmark, from where you can start onsite, fulltime from day one
