Product Program Manager (PPM) - Outsourcing Programs

Do you want to drive high-level program management and spearhead strategic outsourcing initiatives that directly impact global business growth? 

Demant is offering an essential, business-critical role within one of our largest business areas. As our new Product Program Manager (PPM) for Outsourcing, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of products to the market. You will ensure every joint release aligns perfectly with our strategic roadmap, business cases, and strict quality KPIs. 

Join Program Management 

You will join a high-performing team of five senior leaders and report directly to the Vice President of Program Management. In this influential position, you will shape our outsourcing strategy, process, and governance. 

As the primary gatekeeper for outsourcing programs, you will hold approval authority according to our Quality Management System (QMS). You will ensure all joint releases seamlessly meet our demanding business criteria. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Program Leadership: Direct the outsourcing program management team, driving accountability for time, scope, and budget. 

• Process Governance: Manage programs end-to-end in compliance with our internal Outsourcing Process and QMS. 

• Vendor & Contract Management: Lead supplier selection, conduct complex contract negotiations, and oversee supplier deliverables. 

• Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, continuous financial follow-ups, and business case optimization. 

• Integration & Alignment: Plan and execute the integration of external deliveries into the core Demant product and business ecosystem. 

• Executive Reporting: Deliver transparent progress reports to the VP of Program Management and governing boards. 

• Continuous Improvement: Refine and optimize our global outsourcing methodologies and frameworks. 

Your Professional Profile 

To thrive in this senior leadership role, you must bring deep project management expertise and strong commercial acumen. 

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to align expectations across internal departments and external partners.  

• Core Competencies: Mastery of risk management, finance management, change management, and cross-functional leadership. 

• Methodology: SAFe certification or practical expertise in "Leading SAFe" environments. 

Personal Attributes for Success 

We are looking for a candidate who has several years of experience in Program Management in product development and a proven track record in outsourcing. You should have a relevant educational background, e.g. master’s degree combined with experience from a similar position.
