Shape the next generation of hearing technology

Are you an experienced Product Owner with a passion for translating business strategy, technical opportunities and customer needs into impactful products? Do you thrive at the intersection of technology, leadership, and collaboration?

If so, this could be your opportunity to be part of a highly skilled development team working on some of Demant's most advanced hearing aid technologies.

Join a purpose-driven organization improving lives through technology

At Demant, every product we develop has a meaningful purpose: helping people connect, communicate, and live life without limitations.

As Product Owner within Device Hardware Styles & Accessories, you will play a pivotal role in shaping future generations of in-the-ear hearing aids, chargers, and accessories. You will be Product Owner for a multidisciplinary team of developers specializing in mechanics and acoustics. Together, you will drive innovation, solve complex challenges, and create products that combine exceptional user experiences with scalable manufacturing excellence.

About the Team

You will join our Product Owner & Scrum Master community within Device Hardware, Styles & Accessories, consisting of Senior Product Owners, Product Owners, Senior Scrum Masters, and Scrum Masters.

Our mission is to maximize customer value while creating an environment where teams can thrive, innovate, and continuously improve. We believe that great products are built by empowered teams, close collaboration, and a culture of trust and learning.

As a new member of the team, you will benefit from experienced colleagues who actively support knowledge sharing, sparring, and professional development.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for maximizing the value delivered by your team and ensuring alignment between customer needs, business priorities, and technical possibilities.

Working within a SAFe Agile Release Train, you will define priorities, guide product decisions, and help shape the future direction of our hardware portfolio.

You will collaborate closely with Developers, Architects, Product Managers, Manufacturing Specialists, and other stakeholders across Demant, making this a highly visible role with broad organizational impact.

Beyond backlog ownership, you will serve as the voice of the customer, helping the team understand not only what to build, but why it matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys empowering technical specialists, influencing product direction, and creating the conditions for teams to perform at their best.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You will translate product strategy and business priorities into clear team objectives and actionable roadmaps.

You will:

  • Own and continuously prioritize the team's backlog to maximize customer and business value.
  • Create alignment between product strategy, stakeholder expectations, and development activities.
  • Define and communicate clear goals, outcomes, and priorities that enable the team to make informed decisions.
  • Partner closely with the Scrum Master to foster a high-performing, empowered, and psychologically safe team environment.
  • Use data, customer insights, and experimentation to support value-based decision making.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across the organization to drive clarity, transparency, and alignment.
  • Act as the customer's advocate, ensuring user needs remain at the center of product decisions.
  • Contribute to the wider Product Management community and help shape best practices for product ownership at Demant.

Why Join Demant?

At Demant, you'll have the opportunity to influence products that have a tangible impact on people's everyday lives.

In return, we offer:

  • A meaningful mission and products that improve quality of life for millions of users.
  • Significant ownership and influence on future product development.
  • A collaborative environment built on trust, openness, and continuous learning.
  • Dedicated support for your professional and leadership development.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
  • Modern facilities include fitness center, training classes, massage scheme, healthy canteen, employee networks, and social clubs.
  • Collaboration with highly skilled colleagues across product management, engineering, manufacturing, and research.

Could we be a match?

You:

  • Have around 3-5 years of experience as Product Owner, Senior Developer or Team Leader in product development, where you have experience in coaching, guiding, and facilitating technical specialists helping them in delivering impactful solutions and reaching their potential.
  • Have experience in product development in one of the disciplines of mechanics or electroacoustics. This includes micro mechanical systems with plastic parts from injection molding, surfaces treated for aesthetics or protection, vibroacoustic feedback, production testing, and simulations.  You are familiar with the terms Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly.
  • Possess a technical acumen to understand technical areas outside your own educational area, and you know how sub systems work together to form a complex product manufactured for consumers expecting the best. Your curiosity and learning mindset will enable you to bridge business, technical, and transformation perspectives.
  • Have experience with agile product development and are ready to grow your agile leadership.
